Xiaomi Mi A1 Android One Smartphone Launched With Dual Lens Camera

In the global launch event in New Delhi, Xiaomi announced its first ever Android One based smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi A1 featured with dual-rear camera setup at the back.

The Xioami A1 runs on software designed by Google, means you will get pure Android experience over time with latest OS upgrades and Google services built in. Result in quick OS updates, bug fixes and a clean interface.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and come with pure Google UI. It has been also announced that Mi A1 will be getting latest Android 8.0 Orea and Android P as well. The smartphone also offers unlimited high-quality storage on Google Photos.

Xiaomi A1 have 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, Mi A1 have octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone comes with 64GB built in storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card.

Xiaomi Mi A1 is featured with Dual-rear camera consist of 12MP wide angle and a 12MP telephoto lens for quality portrait shots with 1.25µm large pixels. The Mi A1 supports the 10x optical zoom and the 2x telephoto optical zoom. At the front, the smartphone has a 5MP camera.

The smartphone is packed with 3,080 mAh battery and support 4G, dual band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, hybrid SIM card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS and Bluetooth.

Xiaomi Mi A1 comes in Black, Gold, and Rose Gold colour variants with full metal body and rounded edges.

Price And Availability.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 is priced at Rs 14,999 ($234) and will be available on Flipkart and Mi.com from September 12 at 12 noon, as well as at Mi Stores and offline stores. Good news for Airtel customers, if you are planning to buy Xiaomi Mi A1 then you will get 200GB of 4G data for free.
