The HTC U ultra is a high-end smartphone, build to make you in love with its first sight. It is big, is made shiny and powerful. The back is made up of single glass sheets, and a metal frame holds the exterior together. Another killer feature is the built-in HTC Sense Companion – an AI assistant developed to provide tips, suggestions, and alerts respectively. That is paired with four high-quality always-on microphones, allowing the HTC U Ultra to respond quickly to voice commands.
The phone sports a secondary display above the main one like the LG V20 – Companion messages are shown there without disturbing your workflow. One downside: there’s no headphone jack on the Ultra. Instead, it comes USB-C earphones that can adapt to the user’s ear structure and use ultrasonic technology. For those demanding the very best, a limited edition HTC U Ultra will also come with sapphire glass protection and 128 GB of native storage.
The HTC U Ultra has become available in India today, HTC through online store with only two of the promised four colour options – Blue and Black will be available for now.The only storage option available is 64GB and the phone comes with the HTC’s USonic earphones. You also get a year of damage insurance. The Rs. 59,990 price tag is hardly competitive, but if you’re a fan of the Ultra’s glass design grab it.
